Tabgha Cafe offers you an innovative online faith-based program for learning English by taking you on a virtual tour of Nazareth in Galilee,Tabgha, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Bethany, Jericho, Emmaus, and other pilgrimage sites in the Holy Land and around the world.
Your reading skills will be strengthened through our use of scriptural passages from the New Testament telling the life of Jesus and the early Church. Each reading is illustrated with sacred art based on paintings of some of the most famous Renaissance artists.
You will learn the principles of grammar including the eight parts of speech and the rules of punctuation and capitalization by focusing on one grammatical point per reading. By the end of the course, you will have mastered 120 of the most important English grammatical points.
Vocabulary is taught through pictures. Audio files and YouTube videos enhance your listening and speaking skills.
To strengthen your communication skills for dealing with contemporary everyday situations, you will have engaging dialogue exercises. Quizzes in the form of crossword puzzles will test your knowledge of vocabulary and grammar.
